Politics

Were all big boys and girls here so we don't want to fall into the either or trap when we talk politics. The low level discussion sometimes known as left/right or liberal/conservative and by extension Democrat/Republican is the dangerous corner. We want to avoid that area and recommend and encourage a much wider range of political philosophy.

We find that in ourselves and in our democracy we evolve, learn and grow more rapidly by not falling into the right vs. wrong political box. In fact we look forward to a maturing of the American democracy so that it includes at least one more viable national political party allowing a greater range in acceptable political thought.

Meanwhile we must follow today's laws as they are being proposed and debated. This link to the Thomas site is an excellent beginning for tracking national legislative info on the Internet.

To further develop some deep philosophical arguments on politics take a look at this nice hyperlink version of the United States Constitution

And remember Abraham Lincoln's quote: "No man's life or property is safe when the legislature is in session."
